Twin Springs Park is home to a popular and scenic trout fishing stream which isn't lined with tall weeds like so many are today. The stream originates a quarter mile further upstream from 2 spring pools which comprise the Twin Springs' EarthCache GC1AV5N.
This Park was the home of the original Decorah fish hatchery. If you walk further upstream just after crossing the next bridge you will see the old abandoned raceways of that fish hatchery alongside the steep hillside and rocky outcroppings. The very popular and nice Decorah City Campground is located on the other side of HWY 52 as well as access to Decorah's 11 mile paved Trout Run Bike Trail. The nearby steep hillside may cause some GPS bounce but the Hint will get you a smiley.
If you are doing Adventure Labs, one of the stages of the Adventure Lab "Decorah: A Driftless Adventure" is nearby.
