Prairie Ramble

Saturday November 7th, 2015 10am- 11:30am

Morning Prairie Hike
At the Prairie Creek Recreation Area

As we walk through the prairie we are almost sure to discover the signs of winter and the inhabitants making preparations for colder months ahead. Join me and a Naturalist from the Jackson County Conservation as we hike the Prairie Creek Recreation Area and discover what late fall treasures the prairie is hiding for us.

Features of the morning:

* A family friendly 1 mile walk exploring the prairie and rugged terrain of the bluffs at the Prairie Creek Recreation Area.

* Be sure to wear the proper shoes/boots and clothes for walking the trail and possibly hiking in the timber.

* A walking stick and bottled water might be handy items to bring along.

*A chance to enjoy the brisk Fall morning air with friends.

Please remember that all caches in the Jackson County Conservation Areas are CITO locations.
