This cache provides a wee seaside walk ( approx 500yds ) from a fairly rough but accessible car parking area which is located down a gravel road leading to the foreshore, some 60 feet below. A firm and quite even pathway leads east of south towards the cache location. Quite exposed in winter and can be windy. Bit of a sun trap area in summer. Lots of dog walkers use the path also.
Located just of the A75 this hunt will lead you into an area you would otherwise drive past without noticing. There are two parking areas to chooose from - both make-shift but well enough off the road to be safe. The first is halfway down the hill and is a bit of a squeeze to turn but the second is on the foreshore and provides more space. The path to the cache will give you a good view of the town of Stranraer and you may be lucky enough to see some Seals and Swans as well. Some remnents of buildings and a pier are evident at the end of your walk. The container has a number of small items for exchange. Take a pen to complete the log. Please recover and hide as before.
