Lough Dan Scout Centre is a national campsite in the network of over 25 spread throughout the Island of Ireland. Every campsite whether owned and operated nationally or locally is made operate to an exacting standard of excellence. The campsites provide Scouts with a safe environment to participate in some of the outdoor elements of our Programme. Some of the campsites provide indoor accommodation in addition to their camping areas. A lot of them provide a varied range of activities on site, including kayaking, rock climbing, archery, orienteering and so much more. The other national Campsites are Larch Hill International Scout and Guide Centre, Killaloe National Water Activities Centre, Castle Saunderson International Scout Centre and Mount Melleray Scout Centre.
Please note that Lough Dan is for Scout & Guide groups, Gaisce & school groups and those hiking the Wicklow Way. It is not open to the general public for family camps or picnics.
