Geocache Description:

I remember back in the day a long time ago, this place was my second home, my scape from the house, my freedom as a teen and world as an individual.

Many memories come to mind as I look back in time when I used to roam its hallways, play on its fields and gain knowledge on its class rooms. Memories of happier times when life was simpler yet we never realize it until we are adults, back then all that we think is “when in the heck are we going to get out from this living hell” lolol, yet little do we know that in those times we are actually in heaven inside those wall.

Today in order to make this “cache to remember” number 4 on its series around my old hood, I decided to open the door of this building for the first time in over 15 years and have a tour with no other less than my very best friend my son, to show him where his dad used to go to school. It was an amazing experience, as with him I was able to walk these hallways once again and explain to him some of the memories that came to mind as we pass by most of the classrooms where I spent my time and the places where my memories were created.

I was here from 9th grade all the way through 12th as a very proud American Senior High Patriot and a proud A.P Solider (J.R.O.T.C). Within these four year my life was amazing I had many adventures thanks to my teachers and parents, as well a few bittersweet moments that high school life can throw at you once in a while, but still I think nothing can compeer to the feeling that I have tonight walking these hallways once again after 15 years along with my son. It is very interesting to think that 19 years ago I would had never thought to ever be here in the company of my six year old son. This is proof that life changes in the blink of an eye but memories stay forever frozen in time.

Thank you for visiting my old school and for sharing my memories through this cache. As you can see the cache is hidden away from school grounds in accordance with geocaching guidelines, GC will bring you close, but if you want to see the actual school you are more than welcome to use the waypoint for the school and visit it as longest you can follow the school rules on campus.

Remember never take time for granted and enjoy life to your fullest, because times like this will only come once in our lifetimes, then they become but mere memories of our past and when that time comes when your mind makes you travel back in time make sure you have amazing memories like I have.
