This cache is found in Sunset Park in Elkhorn, WI. It is a quaint and small park in a quaint small town - perfect for the kids. Even though Elkhorn is a small town, it is also considered the County Seat. Sunset Park has a newly renovated pool which opened in 2015 and play ground. During the summers on Friday nights the bandshell has concerts that you can listen to. Usually starting at 7 or 7:30 p.m. This cache is located right next to this bandshell.
The Friday before 4th of July (or sometimes if 4th of July is that Friday or Saturday) the park has a fireworks display at night. It has music in this bandshell, and the city has food vendors and other festivities prior to the fireworks.
It's a great family park and am happy to share this with anyone who comes to visit our town. So bring a blanket or some lawn chairs and come stay a while.

I had emailed the Parks and Rec department to ask if there was any paperwork which needed to be submitted for placing a cache in the park. My question was forwarded on to two others and the response I had received was from the Public Works Manager stating "This is not an activity that the city currently has a process for."
