The third cache I placed along this trail. Getting here will be a hike of a little over a mile, each way. Check out "Locomotive Breath," the first of the three, which has the coords to find your way into the state forest and the trail to get here. It may be tempting to stop on the dirt road leading to the trailhead and try to make a beeline to GZ, but don't-- there's a cliff in the way!
My dream home would have a back yard that looks like this spot. Some of the locals apparently agree, and have set up a pretty nice camp site. They could be a bit more conscientious about removing their trash though. The hide itself is pretty simple, just made a bit harder by the many nooks where something could be hidden. You're looking for a medium-sized lock'n'lock style container. BYOP! There's a prize for FTF, the largest of the set hidden in these 3 caches. Congrats to Snowman257 on FTF! I'm glad it was someone I know, because he also retrieved my hiking stick for me lol.
