Track entrance is over a fence into a paddock adjacent a set of public toliets...There is no signage for the Track entrance..
Walk through the paddock up the hill past a concrete water tank..Close gate...Watch for stock...Use the orange DoC triangle track markers to follow the track across farm land
Cache is located on a grassy terrace...along the fenceline..at base of Manuka bush...
Great views of Waikawau Bay, the Campround and the Forest Park...Continue on a short way to the historic headland..
