A few years back, the local community association was successful with their modest millennium project: the establishment of a small park and a diagonal path from the parking along Lynda Lane to the intersection at Smyth Road and the Hospital Ring Road.
Since then, the park has matured and the perennials have started to fill in. Perhaps the ultimate compliment is how patients, visitors and employees have come to use this little green space as a retreat from the nearby hospital. Fresh air does wonders.
The cache is not at the posted coordinates. At the posted coordinates, however, look all around you and carefully assess your immediate surroundings, something will come to mind: call that “x.” You’ll know you are on the right path if it comes to mind three times.
To find the cache (a blue bison tube): add “x” to the last decimal place of the posted north coordinates; and, divide “x” by two, and use this number in the last decimal place for your west coordinates.
There is no need to remove anything except the cache, and trampling plants is unnecessary. Please be sure to carefully replace the cache as found.
As this can be a very busy spot, you will need to choose the time of day and the day of the week very carefully to avoid compromising the hide. Parking on Lynda Lane. Bring your own pen or pencil.
Find photos are welcome, but only from the park sign located a very short distance to the northwest of the posted coordinates.
Have fun.
