This cache has been placed by the Department of Conservation as part of Conservation Week [1-8 Novembere] 2015. A fun to find cache on a family friendly, mostly flat circular walk.
Located in an old saw pit which was dug so that large trees could be cut into planks. This cache is a small plastic food box.
There is good parking, a stone shelter, camp ground and toilets in the area with family friendly walks as well as more adventurous excursions to the top of Little Mt Peel
