Lately I have placed a few puzzle caches based on the English language and homographs. This is another in the series that uses homographs.
I enjoy doing crossword puzzles and especially enjoy those which have clever definitions. Most clever definitions are based on homographs, or double meanings. For example, a "low digit" sounds like "one" or "two" or "three", but the clever answer is "toe". So pay attention to the definitions and think "outside the box". This is the hardest puzzle, so far .... less hints, (for now)!
First determine the word represented by the definition. Then perform the necessary calculations to get the coordinates of the final. You'll need to know how to calculate the digital root (DR) for words to complete the calculations. The number of letters in the answer is indicated by the 'dashes'.
A. Leader of the flock---> _ _ _ _ _ R . Calculate DR.
B. Declining in Germany--------> _ _ _ _ . Calculate DR.
C. Air bag ----------> _ _ _ _ . Calculate DR.
D. Handle props ----------> A _ _ _ _ _. Calculate DR.
E. Rubber ----------> M _ _ _ _ _ _ . Calculate DR + 3.
F. Eaten with a cracker ----------> _ _ _ _ _ T . Calculate DR.
G. Change maker ----> _ _ _ _. Calculate DR.
H. Has jaws and a mouth ---> _ _ _ _ . Calculate DR.
The final is at N43 5A.BCD W78 0E.FGH.
The final is on the side of a road. Park carefully and be aware of the traffic. Final is a micro, so please BYOP and write small.
