[ITA] Il parco di Villa Baragiola, è senza dubbio un'altro luogo interessante tra parchi Varesini. La Villa ormai "offuscata" dalle altre costruzioni non è accessibile e anche dal parco è pressoché difficile scorgerla.
Le coordinate date, appartengono al parcheggio "NORD" P1 ed è aperto solo dal lunedì al venerdì dalle 08:00 alle 18:00. Per l'accesso in orari diversi all'altro parcheggio, consulta waypoint P2 in fondo.
Situata a Masnago nel comune di Varese, Villa Baragiola, fu costruita nella prima metà dell’Ottocento dall'omonima famiglia milanese per divenire casa di campagna. Dal punto di vista architettonico, era costituita da un edificio a pianta pressoché quadrata, con saloni disposti attorno al vano centrale della scala.
La parte più interessante del sito è rappresentata dall'eccezionale parco, costituito da una parte inferiore dove una volta si trovava un laghetto artificiale, oggi sostituito dall'area a parcheggio, e da una collinetta retrostante, sulla quale si apre un interessante parco all'inglese, caratterizzato dal tipico collezionismo botanico di fine ‘800. Sul lato nord del parco, all'ombra del monte Campo dei Fiori, l’avvocato Baragiola inaugurò quello che oggi sarebbe stato l'antenato di un importante impianto sportivo della città e che si estendeva sino all'area oggi occupata dallo stadio “Franco Ossola” e dal suo parcheggio. Successivamente la villa fu ristrutturata per conto di un nuovo proprietario e ulteriori modifiche furono apportate allorquando, la struttura fu destinata a seminario di ordine religioso. Degli anni ‘30 la costruzione della Dacia in stile ungherese. Più recente il lungo edificio rettangolare ospitante, un tempo, le aule degli studenti del seminario. Il complesso, fu poi acquistato dall'Amministrazione Comunale che, dopo interventi di restauro vi ha trasferito parte degli uffici aprendo il parco al pubblico.

[ENG] The park of Villa Baragiola, is undoubtedly another interesting place between parks of Varese. The Villa now blurred by other buildings is not accessible and also the park is almost hard to see her.
The coordinates belong to the "NORD park" P1 and is only open Monday to Friday from 08:00 to 18:00. To access at different times to another parking, see P2 waypoint at the bottom.
Located in the municipality of Masnago Varese, Villa Baragiola, it was built in the early nineteenth century by the homonymous family from Milan to become the country house. From the architectural point of view, it consisted of an almost square building, with rooms arranged around the central space of the ladder.
The most interesting part of the site is represented by the exceptional park, it consists of a bottom where once stood a small artificial lake, today replaced from a parking, and from behind a hill, on which there is an interesting English style park, characterized by the typical botanical collections of late '800. On the north side of the park, in the shadow of Mount Campo dei Fiori, the owners Baragiola ushered in what today would be the ancestor of a major sports facility in the city and that extended until the area now occupied by the stadium "Franco Ossola" and its parking. Subsequently, the Villa was restored on behalf of a new owner, and further changes were made when, the structure was designed to seminary religious order. '30s the construction of Dacia in Hungarian style. More recently the long host rectangular building, once, the classrooms of the seminary students. The complex, which was later acquired by the City Council which, after restoration work has moved you the offices opening the park to the public.
