Another cache to encourage walking the full loop...
This geocache was placed when I was walking the Pukenui Forest Long Loop (8.9 km) hike which goes along the Taraire Ridge Track (3-5 hours return). My GPS unit is also my phone and so when it surprisingly rings while deep in the forest it creates a surreal moment breaking the peaceful solitude. When that phone call is from friends overseas with great news, it makes this little blue and green marble we call home seem even smaller. GZ is where one might rest when receiving great news. Do not rely on cell phone coverage on this loop track. Significant sections are out of range.
