Lake Heron is not only a good place to go fishing but also has dramatic views of the surrounding mountains which include Mt Taylor; climbed by Sir Edmund Hillary.

This cache is on the shores of Lake Heron and is accessible either by walking, mountain biking or in the summer by 4WD.
