Geocache Description:

We removed the 24/7, suggest searching during day light hours. Cache is located just off the Sumner Trail Link.

We received this cache container from a cacher (Kirk F) in Galena, IL. He made it from scratch.

Galena has many fun and interesting caches, much history. After the Civil War, there were nine Generals living in Galena, including the most famous one, General Grant.

Kirk F also portrays General John Eugene Smith for local events.
