You can enter the grassland range on the east side of the lake, there is a small parking area there. If you follow the cow trails, they will lead you close to ground zero. This lake is on Nature Trust land, which is open to walkers with dogs on leash. No motorized vehicles allowed. Please tread gently on this beautiful land, and enjoy the peace and quiet, as we often do.
