Geocache Description:

This cache has been updated by the Christchurch City Council as part of the DOC National Geocaching Challenge 2016 for Conservation Week 10-17 September. Please see the DOC website for more details about the challenge and prizes. This is a quite a simple cache in a lovely spot. Please keep to the paths as some of the plants are fragile. The final cache is in easy reach of the path.

Styx Mill Reserve has some gorgeous easy walks through native bush. This reserve is very popular with dog owners as there is a dog park adjacent to the walks. This cache is one of the Christchurch City Council's simpler ones, we just want to get you out and about in this lovely reserve!
