Geocache Description:

This cache is a small black film canister placed near a rune stone.

This area seems to have been popular to place rune stones in, because there is another rune stone (also with a cache "Runstenen" GC6172) a few hundred meters from this one. If you go to this place in the summer you will probably hear the wind blow in the corn field. Nice place for a quick break.

Beowulf is the name of a great warrior from the sixth century. He slayed Grendel, a huge monster, mentioned in the poem of Beowulf. Unfortunatle it not Beowulfs own rune stone, his name is only borrowed to this cache.
