高倉健･田中裕子主演の映画｢ホタル｣の長期ロケが海潟漁港を中心に行われた。目の前に桜島がそびえるおだやかな海岸漁港での色々な撮影現場が漁港の一角に保存されている。今でも映画を偲んでロケ地跡を訪れる人が多い。主演夫婦の住居になった民家や劇中に登場する漁船･桟橋･コーヒーを飲みながら談笑したテーブルなど数々のロケセットが見学できる。
