A Multi For VillaOnTheHill~
This is an easy two-stage multi-cache in beautiful Ft. Stevens State Park. If you park near the Peter Iredale shipwreck, you can expect a short and pleasant walk. The coordinates for the final cache can be found at stage one which is at the posted coordinates.
If you have found other caches in Ft. Stevens or along Highway 30, you have likely had the pleasure of encountering a VillaOnTheHill~ geocache. Some of Villa's caches can be tricky to find...well, downright brutal! But most are easy and will pleasantly surprise you with the quality of their construction.
Mr. Villa has taken the art of geocache construction to a whole new level, with very creative handmade models that often represent the location in which they are hidden. You will get a new perspective on the history of Ft. Stevens!
The team of Orange Crash, Seawind and Matia Geodog have had the honor of finding all of the many Villa caches in the park and can enthusiastically recommend them to any cacher. We wanted to add this small tribute and say thanks for the many hours of enjoyment you have provided.
Fittingly, the final cache was provided by Mr. Fred Meyer himself, and I can only assume it was personally hand-carved by him! I just didn't know he lived in China!
Leashed dogs are welcome and this would make a great bike ride. Enjoy!
