kapiteinrooibos: Due to actions from other Geocachers and the roadworks there we decide to stop with our caches in Turkey.
Its a pitty but we are forced to do this.
We have already took this box away. So we are very disappointed...!!
In spite of this we wish everybody happy geocaching.

Geocache Description:

Our first cache abroad. We called it the “Cave Man” because of the gentle man who was living two steps away from the cache-site down by the river….

Türkçe: Bizim ilk cache Türkiyede. İsmi mağra adamı nedeni iyi kişi olduğu saklı olan yerde ikamet etmekte. Aranmasına çok sevinecek. Gelen geçenlere sergilemekten mutlu oluyor.

The cache is hidden not far away (about 15kms) from the soutern coast. In Konakli (about 12 kms west from Alanya) you take the road to Güzelbag/ Gündogmus. In no time the landscape changes and you are surrounded by lovely mountains. It’s besides the river Kargi Ç the “Cave Man” lived. This man created a lot of art from natural materials.

If you have time after that you also can go further on and look for the cache “Colybrassus”. Another very beautiful trip is to Uçansu Selâlesi a waterfall about 25kms east from Gündogmus.

Türkçe: Guney sahilinden fazla uzakta değil aşağı yukarı 15 km saklanmakta. Konaklıdan 12 km Alanyanın batısından güzelbağ gündoğmus yoluna gidiceksin. Kargı nehirin yakınında oturuyor mağra adamı. Doğadan buldukları cısımlerden sanat eseri yapmakta.
