Geocache Description:

When: Sunday 29th November 2015

1pm - 4pm

Where: Rosearden Community Hall, Courthill St, Dalry, KA24 5AR

With St Andrews day on Monday and Xmas just weeks away. Come along and join us for a geocaching event mash up. An afternoon filled with geochat, festive good will, raffles, geo-games and Scottish traditional banter.

New geocachers are most welcome to attend as it’s a great way to meet the local geocaching community and pick up some tips on any aspect of the game. Don’t forget you can swap travel bugs and geocoins at the event.
Bring along your favourite traditional Scottish or Festive dish for others to enjoy. Pull on your best festive sweater or Scottish bonnet. We'll have tea and coffee available on the afternoon but as always home baking is appreciated.

We'll also be introducing our new geo-game REINDEER DASH

Reindeer Dash is here. I've added 9 waypoints to the event listing. Each waypoint will have a hidden cache containing a marked envelope. Each envelope contains one of Santa's Reindeers. Each Reindeer will have a number. You will not be able to see what's in each envelope, you just visit each waypoint and pick a marked envelope. You will have to visit each waypoint and then back at the event produce 9 envelopes marked 1 to 9. The envelopes will be opened back at the event and your scored tallied up. The player with the highest score will win a Caledonian CacheFest mystery prize. Reindeer Dash is optional to play but to have a chance at the prize you must play to win.
