This is one of my favorite spots in Bahir Dar- beautiful view of the lake, right near Debre Mariam, and if you're lucky you might spot a hippo or two.
If you're coming by road, look for the Coke sign across from the African Union building and head to the very end of the road. Most people stop at the dock or head to Debre Mariam, but to find this geocache you'll have to adventure a bit further. Ask the kids where you can see the hippos (gumari) and they'll point you in the right direction to find this one. The cache itself is in the rock wall under the biggest tree in the area.
