I don’t recommend this challenge for anyone out on their first journey. As it is, rumor has it you have head into the moors early to see the epic sunrises here, and while you were so focussed on you picture taking your have forgotten to bring what you need! You will never find and the sign geocache without the right supplies! But fear not adventurer, you may *borrow mine. While I was patrolling the Serengeti for poachers out past the other side of the mountain last month, I left a stash of supplies so I wouldn’t have to carry them so far next time. I hid the bin of supplies containing EVERYTHING YOU NEED FOR YOUR SUCCESSFUL HUNT right at the foot of a cluster of four trees 120 feet off one of the trails. These two trails meet or pass close to one another three times: near the parking lot, on top of the mountain, and far down the plain at the tall white post.
*Once you find and sign the cache log, or if you don’t find it and instead you give up, please put the geocache and supplies back exactly how and where you found them so the next seeker can fully enjoy the extra hidden challenge for this cache. Please close the supply bin securely to keep water out.

The walking trail meanders through the Serengeti heading northwest. A high point approximately half a mile from the parking area, locally nicknamed "Kilimanjaro," provides expansive views of the Middle Moors, the Milestone Cranberry Bog, Sankaty lighthouse, Alter Rock, Sconset village, conservation lands to the south of the Milestone Road, and the distant Atlantic Ocean on the south shore of Nantucket. The walking trails in this portion of the Serengeti total approximately 1.7 miles round-trip, but there are many opportunities to explore further and connect to other trails and dirt roads within the Middle Moors area. You can follow these trails to other area geocaches. The dirt paths area easy to follow, but too bumpy for strollers. There aren't many shade trees along the path to keep dogs cool on a hot summer day. The views of the area are best durring sunrise and when fog is rolling in.
