Cache is located in the largest greenspace area on Grosse Ile. Mostly hardwood forest. Accessable by foot or bicycle. Lots of deer hang out in these woods. Can be muddy in the spring.
A beautiful 1 mile walk through Grosse Ile's largest Greenspace tract on a semi-developed hiking trail leads to this cache. Park at the end of Gage Ave and take the Ferry Trail - after a few hundred feet, take the trail to the left. After crossing the normally dry creek bed the trail makes a loop (so either way leads to cache). Cache is at the end of this loop. Lotto ticket for FTF. Trail can be very muddy in the spring or after heavy rains.
