This cache has been placed in memory of our first dog, Amber. She was a beautiful Golden Retriever who loved her walks, water and mud. She always enjoyed a walk along Lytham Green but on one occasion she decided to head in the general direction of Southport in search of naughtiness. No amount of shouting and bawling drew her attention. She did return eventually.....looking not very Golden and with a horrible pong. A very frustrating time but one which we soon laughed about afterwards.
I have placed this cache to compliment the others already placed by the footpath along Lytham Green. There are several benches along here all of which provide a lovely view of Southport and beyond on a clear day.
