There are a number of caches on the various bikeways in the area but most of these are easy to get too and don’t take you along the path. As I ride them most days I thought I would fill in a few spots.
It is amazing how you keep discovering things. They trimmed the grass the other day and nfor the first time I saw this plaque. It recognizes the work done on the interchange and preservation of the habitat for the flying foxes as part of this. You can often hear the squawking away in the trees as you ride bye. Just thought it both cool and fascinating.
There is no parking in front of the plaque. You have to park a little way away and walk. Follow the walking track and it is relatively pleasant though it is much prettier further into the bush.
It is on a main road. Whilst there are barriers please keep an eye on the kids.
