The cache is a round clear Rubbermaid container with a white lid, containing small treasures. The contents as placed include: a sea-captain, a rain poncho, a net full of "gems", a tape measure, a lock with keys, Silly-Putty, a duck and - guess what? - a dog. A logbook and pen were included in the cache. Please log your visit.
We have found that a great way to Geocache is on the backs of our bicycles. The Pinellas Trail is a great place to start. It is a 34 mile rail-trail that extends from Tarpon Springs South to St. Petersburg. It is a popular place for bikers, rollerbladers, and hikers. Our favorite features on the trail are the half dozen bicycle overpasses that allow you to pass over busy roads. They require a little effort to climb, but the ride down the other side more than makes up for it.
We hope that others follow our lead and place caches along bike trails.
Please give us a report of the condition of the cache.
