In Eagle Mountain there is a dirt road connecting the Ranches with the town center. Coming from the Ranches the road branches into Lake Mountain road and into Pony Express Road. Lake Mountain road hugs the bottom of the mountain and goes south into Cedar Valley. Stay on Lake Mountain road. At the following point on Lake Mountain Road 40.19.972 -111.59.756 a small dirt road branches off to the east. Follow this road to the cache. I took my Durango but I think a car could make it.
You can also access Lake Mountain road by coming into Eagle Mountain all the way into the town center. Follow the road all the way into town and toward the mountain. Just before it starts to go up the hill turn north onto the dirt road.
**NOTE - JANUARY 18,2003**
We had taken this cache away for a while since they were placing a new gas pipeline through the area. The pipeline is now done. It's rather interesting to see all the work they have done in the area. The raod is still washed out from a western approach. But coming in from the west is only about a .4 mile hike or so. Nothing really serious...and it's a nice and easy hike.
