Geocache Description:

Currently the third in my Blaeloch series, named for the principle "summit" in the Kelburn windfarm. A pleasant stroll up into the windfarm an excellent walk on any kind of day but especially on a clear one when there are excellent views to be had in all directions. The path is very good underfoot and generally dry throughout with some decent inclines to get the heart pumping...

The name of the cache is inspired by the arrangement of the gabions which appear to support Blaeloch hill as if it was a castle, the rocks opposite are like sentries guarding the access route. If you are lucky enough to be up here on a clear day you will be able to enjoy some stunning views of Cumbrae, the Firth of Clyde and back into the Garnock Valley

Blaeloch hill, classified as a Marilyn is the major hill within the Kelburn Windfarm area, it's name has inspired me to create a series of caches. This is the third in the series which currently consist of five caches although I am minded to extend this and create a multi with a bonus but that's in the future.

Cache is a small bottle container with log swapables and a pencil.
