I chose WAFI Mall purely because I do more caching than shopping an know more of the outdoors than the in! So here is a Mall that I do not frequent but I often think I should come. Situated next to the pyramid of Raffles Hotel another (yawn) iconic building in Dubai! It is also in a bit of cache dead zone...sorry.
Join me in Starbucks on the 1st floor Friday 6th November from 11am to Midday. Closest place to leave the car is Nile Parking.
The Mall is of course pretty Dubai Impressive and this one is no exception with architectural styles influenced by Egyptian and Turkish, the mall is dominated by its modern interpretation of the Pharaohs, whose epic splendour is conveyed through exquisite stained glass, intricate mosaics, carvings and sculptures. It worth a wander round.
