The hike to this location is nice and scenic any time of the year.
There are several options to getting to the area. Park at P10 (Lime Kiln) and either take the Chipmunk Trail through the Black Forest (as mlord refers to it), or cross the alvar just past the Lime Kiln ruins.
The other option is to park at P6 (Old Richmond Road) and make your way along that set of trails.
As of October 25, 2015, parking near Old Richmond Road and Hope Sideroad is not an option, as there is currently no parking available due to construction.
The approach you take to get to the GZ once you leave the trail is entirely your choice.
There is an easy route and a difficult route. Depending on your route, you'll either encounter a tangled mess of deadfall, or a fairly easy walk. Guess which way I took in?
If attempting at night, I would recommend some eye protection due to the cedar branches around the area of the GZ
When placed, the container had a log sheet, pencil, geocache manifesto, and a bit of swag recovered from the archived Titan #1 cache.
