Geocache Description:

A Hike in Deer Lakes (AHinDL) is just what the name implies.  This is a series ouf caches that I have placed pretty much following the Orange, White, and Purple hiking trails at Deer Lakes park.  All the caches will be within 100 feet of the main trails. There should be very little bushwhacking involved. Just watch your step as there are some pretty serious wash outs along a few of the trails, that are hidden in taller grasses.

Proceed along the white trail after finding White Trail Overlook.  The trail will come into another clearing and depending on if you took the main trail or the parrellel trail, wil dictate if you turn right or left.  You will continue on the white trail until you come across another one of the many unmarked feeder tails within Deer Lakes.  Take this trail until you come to this interesting looking tree, where one becomes four. Once you reach the tree, begin your search as it should very a very easy find for you at this point.  Once you have retrieved this small lock and lock container, please sign the log and rehide it back where you found it.

Please note that Deer Lakes is only open from 8 AM to Dusk, year round. This means there is no night caching in the park. Please abide by this so there are no problems.
