Lincoln Logs were named after President Abraham Lincoln. So, it is only right that Lincoln State Park a cache named Lincoln Logs. The original sales slogan for these great toys was "Interesting playthings typifying the spirit of America."
These play things were the creation of John Lloyd Wright, the son of famed architect Frank Lloyd Wright. On a trip to Tokyo, John was inspired when watching workers build the Imperial Hotel with a revolutionary technique of interlocking beams.
