Geocache Description:


This is number 26 in a series of caches. Some will be at sporting venues others may not.

The Brownlow Medal was formally Charles Brownlow Trophy.

It is a individual award given to a player who is judged to be the fairest and best player in the Australian Football League

during the regular season.

This is decided by votes by the officiating umpires after each game.

The Medal has been awarded every year since 1924 with the exception of an intermission from 1942 to 1945 due to World War 2.

Payers are ineligible to win the Medal if they have been suspended for on field offences.

The 1958 Brownlow Medal was won by Neil Roberts from the St Kilda [saints] Football Team.

He had 20 votes.

 

The cache maybe difficult to do if any sporting events are being held.

The cache is a M&M containe painted black which contains a logbook only.  BYO pen.

Keep an eye out for muggles.

Please watch out for snakes in the warmer weather.

After signing log please replace in same spot don't push it to far in.
