Family Friendly (Fun) Event (Children need to be with an adult/guardian).
1:00pm is the Polar Bear Plunge. A release form must be signed before taking "the plunge." Free hot chocolate to those that take the plunge.
Polar Bear Plunge will take place at 1:00pm. The water depth is about waist deep on Wade/Dane (four feet deep). Think of it as a New Year's "Cleanse." Out with the old, in with the new you! If you can do this...you can do just about anything!
Those who take the plunge will get free hot chocolate and bragging rights...the rest of us will cheer you on.
Bring your camping chairs to sit and watch the polar bears. Stay warm or warm up by the portable campfire.
One new geocache will be released approximately at 2:00pm. Plungers get first dibs at FTF. Check out previous events at GC4T69Y, GC5G4ZN
