Geocache Description:

This cache is part of my attempt at GeoArt to highlight spots around Portsmouth, R.I. Finding this cache will help you solve the final coordinates for the Portsmouth Bonus cache. As with all the mysteries, the cache is not located at the posted coordinates.

In 1948, both The Saturday Evening Post and Reader's Digest gave Mark Twain credit for the phrase that inspired this cache's title. But in reality, the phrase's origins go back to the turn of the 20th century, when novelist Harry Leon Wilson, asked to describe the beloved game of golf, said:  “Golf has too much walking to be a good game, and just enough game to spoil a good walk.”

Could the same be said about Geocaching? There could be a lot of walking, and I guess it only gets spoiled when you can't get the smiley.  Did you know that there are three golf courses in Portsmouth's city limits. Two are available to the public, the third is self described as "a private sporting estate committed to the art of living well." Good luck trying to get on there. The people below probably could, so you might need to hit them up to get a tee time. If they're not in your speed dial, that's OK. To earn the smiley here, just figure out the following puzzle. It shouldn't be a major dilemma to do so.
