The CacheQueens are excited to announce the 1st Annual Great Cookie Swap Event!
Our venue is the barn at Triangle L Ranch in Oracle, AZ
The Cookie Swap is On Saturday, December 12th
Please show up between 4 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. to get your cookies set up!
The official swap will happen at 5:00 p.m.
After we will have the rest of the evening to potluck and enjoy the illuminated art path and chit chat by the fire!
Potluck is Taco Bar style!
Attendees will have the option to stay for the swap, stick around for dinner and socializing Or make a weekend of the event.
*****The log will be available between 4:30 and 10:30 p.m. for cachers to sign!*****
The Great Cookie Swap 2015
RULES
All cookies should be fresh, homemade, & baked No cookie mixes, no-bakes, meringues.
Bars & Fudge okay as long as the portions are fair in likeness to a cookie
Please bring 4 dozen total cookies The theme is "Holiday Cookies".
Arrange cookies in a basket or platter and be creative! There will be a contest for best display!
Bring a large container to carry away your cookies.
Holiday attire encouraged! There will also be an UGLY SWEATER CONTEST!
Please log your "Will Attend" as soon as you can and let us know what type of cookies you are planning on baking -
please no duplicates!
If you don't have time to bake, or have burnt your cookies, but still want to attend,
please go to a real bakery and buy cookies to swap!
Want to stay overnight?
Triangle L is a bed and breakfast and will give geocachers a 10% discount if you reserve your room
for this event prior to Thanksgiving.
If you want to camp or bring your RV, there are no hook ups.
The charge including breakfast Sunday morning for camp/RV is $25
& $15 if you want to opt out of breakfast
The Event Hosts are paying $150 to cover use of the barn for the cookie swap, firewood, and rental of a port-a-potty for the event.
Contributions welcome to help defer the cost of using the facilities.
