This quiet park is the jewel of the Richardson/Murphy/Sachse area. My family and I have been coming here for years. There is so much to see and explore here through all seasons of the year, both on and off trail. In springtime the western end of the park is covered in fields of vibrant firewheels, and they now appear to be extending the trails in that area. The eastern end of the park boasts some low-lying flat areas that once upon a time was used for Cap'n Cube's soccer practices. Good memories.
The park boasts over 25 geocaches, including mystery and multi-caches. A lot of these lie off dirt trails in the park's "unincorporated" sections, which are not to be passed over!
This cache is near a spot where you have a very nice overlook of the large pavilion that sits by the pond, and if you're there on a nice fall evening you should have a beautiful and peaceful sunset view.
Since this cache is dedicated to the natural beauty of this park, pictures are especially encouraged in the logs. Thanks!
