Kowloon Hospital (九龍醫院) is the first public hospital in Kowloon. It was founded in 1925 and it consists of 17 blocks.
Kowloon Hospital used to provide accident and emergency services before Queen Elizabeth Hospital came into use. Nowadays, it has changed its role into specialising in respiratory medicine as well as providing nurse training in the School of General Nursing.
The buildings in Kowloon Hospital have also great historical and architectural values. On 18th December, 2009, 8 blocks were classified as Grade II Historic Buildings by the Antiquities and Monuments Office, meaning that they are of special merit and efforts should be made to selectively preserve. About the setting of up of this cache...
I was brought here by this archived cache, Alien. The cache disappeared mysteriously and probably the cache and the CO were both kidnapped by the aliens. Anyways, I now deploy the cache here as I want others to have a look around those historic buildings like what I did. Enjoy the view here! I like the ambiance around dusk the most. It's like you have travelled back in time, and you would not feel spooky at all.
