Geocache Description:

After the horrific events of September 12th 2015 when a wildfire devasted Lake County, we took some time off to collect our thoughts and emotions... this cache is the first we have placed since and it is in thoughts of everyone who was affected by this fire

When I heard that a fire had broken out on Cobb Mountain, I raced up the mountain to try and get to my 20 month old daughter who was at our home on the top of Cobb ... Myself and some friends of ours drove through the fire to try and get to her only to be blocked at the end of the road by a very large wall of flames.. this cache is placed as close as I could get to that point... not to mourn, but to celebrate because my Daughter is still here with us ... this is a very pretty area and I hope that when you come and log this cache you will see the beauty in the area and not the devestaion of fire...

there is enough parking for one car but its close to a road so please be careful of pets and kids

it should be a fairly simple park and grab
