Claudet Road Community Park (opened in 2015) offers a short but pleasant trail through a lightly treed and brushy area. There are four marked entry points along Claudet Road and Northwest Bay Road and one from the parking lot which is entered from Claudet Road. The cache is within a step of the trail, so there's no need to bushwack.
A bit of local history: The road name refers to Frederick George Claudet, an early landowner and settler in this area. He was the grandson of Antoine F.J. Claudet , a well known French photographer who introduced the idea of the red 'safe' light in the darkroom when developing film. Locals normally pronounce the name with an Anglicized spin (Claw-det).
