Another cache along the Horton Burn.
This cache is on a dual carriageway that is busy at peak times, so the usual traffic precautions are required. This is not really a drive by you really have to park off the dual carriageway. If you're walking from Old Fire Station Bridge then take the foot path over the field from the gate close to the cache. The field contains horses that will hold you to ransom, so leave the sugar lumps at home at your peril. The path is of coarse muddy at times so suitable footware is required, there is a stile at one end of the path and wooded stairs at the other. Cross the dual carriageway. The cache is just down the bank from the roadway. If you are going to another cache northwards then you can continue along the footpath to Boghouses (yes that's what they are called). This field currently contains friendly cows. Please practice CITO.
