This cache follows suit of my other NFL inspired caches around the city of Charlottetown.
The Broncos were barely competitive during their 10-year run in the AFL and their first seven years in the NFL. They did not have a winning season until 1973. Four years later, in 1977, they made the playoffs for the first time in franchise history and advanced to Super Bowl XII. Since 1975, the Broncos have become one of the NFL's more successful teams, having suffered only six losing records in 40 seasons. They have won seven AFC Championships and two Super Bowls. Recently acquired legendary QB Peyton Manning has lifted the Broncos to new heights in recent years, although they have come up short of winning it all so far. The 2015 season (thus far) is looking promising with the Broncos first in the league in defense and currently are undfeated.
Ironically, I found this cache container in my backyard last month. I think it belonged to a nearby cache that went missing. My wife and caching partner is also the minister of the church, so feel free to stop in and say hi or take a tour of this historic building! (the office door can be found by following the church driveway)
