Pawtuckaway State Park
Pawtuckaway State Park is a 5,000-acre preserve in New Hampshire. It is one of the largest state parks in southeastern New Hampshire and is named for Pawtuckaway Lake and the Pawtuckaway Mountains. In addition to Peregrine falcons and vultures, ravens have been known to nest in the cliffs of North Mountain near Devil's Den. Bring along binoculars as you may be lucky to spot ravens soaring overhead. The raven is all black with highly glossed plumage showing iridescent greens, blues, and purples. It weighs around 40 oz, has a 3.5-4 ft wingspan, and is around 24-27 inches from head to tail. Ravens can do a somersault in flight and even fly upside down.

Cache
The cache is tucked away in a serene and scenic area of the park that rarely sees visitors. The access to the cache is by a 1/4 mile bushwhack. The views from ground zero are spectacular during any season. Expect and plan for ticks, mosquitoes, and thorns. Depending on how you access the cache, wet and marshy conditions may be encountered in the lower lying areas.
There is a FTF prize of one of my personal unactivated geocoins. The coin wouldn't fit in the cache container so I will make separate arrangements with the FTF to hand over the coin.
