Let's show our geocaching creativity and decorate a roadside Christmas tree with a geocaching theme. Please bring an ornament or two or three even if you choose, or other suitable tree decorating items. I will bring a tree topper, several ornaments I have created, and a "paper" chain that will once again be our event log. Lets make our tree shine. (This year I have solor powered lights) Be aware the trees are on the side of a hill, and next to a busy freeway, it will require climbing. Small children and pets are discouraged. However bring your family as this is a family friendly event. Additional parking is available at Spicewood springs. After the thanksgiving festivities lets work off some of the turkey leftovers with some tree decorating. This event was so well received last year I was informed it needs to be an annual event so lets make it bigger and better! We will be hosting a CITO in the area after the first of the year to help ensure this family friendly fun activity does not create a enviromental hazard to the nearby balcones wood watershed area and the local enviroment. We all know we will be enviromentally responsible with our tree decorating (no glass, icicles, or any other items that might damage the local area please) and clean up of our tree but many other people are not.
