Tickle Me Peak! Traditional Cache

This cache is situated on Talyuberlup Peak in the Stirling Range National Park. Not quite at the summit, you will find this cache at an elevation of about 742m, near a little cave which goes right through the mountain.

The walk to the summit of Talyuberlup from the carpark is a 3 hour return hike at 2.6km in length with some steep, rocky sections. The walk to the cache starts with a gentle uphill stroll through Talyuberlup mallee and Veronica's wattle. This gentle slope quickly changes to a steep slippery scramble up the mountain until you arrive at the base of the cliff face and follow the trail to the cache near the cave. Continue on to the summit for some awesome views!

The cache is a cylindrical Sistema container with pen and waterproof logbook. If you're not very tall, you may need to climb up a little bit of rock to reach the hiding spot. For those who would like a bonus, clues to a second cache can be found inside this one.
