Tato tradiční keška vás dovede k hájovně ve Vosovicích, u vesničky Radimov.
Ke keši je možné se dostat v pohodě na kole, nebo pěšky.
V roce 1565, kdy se ujal hospodaření Petr Vok (Peter Wok von Rosenberg), stála "Vosovická" hájovna ve středu hájenství, takže plnila svou funkci majíc do všech stran stejně daleko. Okolní vesnice Radimov, Debrník a Skalice patřily k Soběslavi, zatímco Hlavatce k Želči. Myslivna je umístěna při cestě spojující Soběslav a Hlavatce, má kolem sebe i zahradu.. Ponědavadž v té době ještě byla robota, mohl pan lesní dle libosti zavolat kohokoliv z okolních vesnic na práci. V roce 1594 prodal Petr Vok panství choustnické Soběslavi, v r. 1596 prodal i panství bechynské a želečské Šternberkům.
V hájovně se vystřídalo mnoho hajných i polesných. Jedním z posledních byl František Koranda s rodinou, se kterou si později v Radimově vystavil dům. Posledním majitelem byl Fin a proto se v hájovně nachází i pozůstatky nefalšované finské sauny. Bohužel však na stavení v lese zanevřel a tak chátrá víc a víc. Budovu ničí dřevomorka a tak se i přes zájem mnoha lidí musí počítat s jejím postupným zřícením.
Les v létě poskytuje úkryt ve stínu smrků, borovic, dubů, modřínů, buků i jedlí. Je velmi bohatý na lesní plody především maliny a borůvku i jedlé houby, včetně syrovinek. Přimo na pozemku hájovny se mohutně tyčí obrovská jedle a naproti hájence se nachází malý, však kouzelný palouček. Další stavbou je zde dřevěná myslivecká bouda, kde si můžete odpočinout, dát svačinku, nebo třeba opéct buřty.
This traditional cache will lead you to the gamekeeper´s house in Vosovice, near by the small village Radimov.
It is possible to get to the cache easily by foot or by bike.
In the year 1565, when Peter Vok of Rosenberg (Czech well known nobleman) took over managing, the Vosovice´s gamekeeper´s house was situated in the middle of the manor with forests, so it fulfilled it´s function by staying in the same distance in all directions. Surrounding villages like Radimov, Debrník and Skalice belonged to town Soběslav while Hlavatce belonged to Želeč. Vosovice gamekeeper´s house was located at the road (path) connecting Soběslav and Hlavatce, and there was also a garden belonging to the house. At that time, the corvée was still the order of the day, Mr. Gamekeeper or Forester could call anyone from the surrounding villages to work in here, in the forrests etc. In 1594 Peter Vok sold the estates of Soběslav, in year 1596 he sold also the manor of Bechyně and Želeč to Sternbergs (another Bohemian nobility).
In this gamekeeper´s house, many foresters and gamekeepers had lived. One of the last was František Koranda and his family, but he later built a house in Radimov village and moved there. The last owner was a Finn and therefore in the gamekeeper´s house you still may find the remains of genuine Finnish sauna. Unfortunately, he lost all love to the building in the woods and so the house cankers more and more. Building is slowly being destroyed by dry rot, and despite the interest of many people we must reckon with its gradual collapse.
In summer forest provides the shelter in the shade of spruces, firs, pines, oaks, beeches, larches etc. It is very rich in berries especially raspberries and blueberries and it is really easy to find eateble mushrooms like boletes, or even Lactarius volemus. Directly on the land that belongs to the house you may see mighty dwarfing huge fir tree and on the opposite site of the forester's lodge there is a small but enchanting meadow. Another building staying very close to the gamekeeper´s house is a wooden shed of hunters, where you can relax, have a snack, or even roast some sausages or knockwursts.
