Whilst killing time before heading off on holiday to Malta I headed out to do a couple of Bridge of Don caches. Whilst heading to the nearby Mallard View I came across this location with the bend in the river, a weir and lots of autumnal colours. It was very pleasant walk to the cache but I felt this particular area with the views here and the unusual old bridge deserved its own cache.
So I headed back to the car grabbed a cache box and a trackable went back down towards the weir and hunted around for a suitable place to stash the cache. Once placed I went to grab another cache or two before heading to the airport for my holiday to Malta.
