Geocache Description:

This is the frist in a series of 4 caches which takes you along the route where Baxter, my pure bred mongrel, likes to talk me for a walk.

The track follows a walking/cycle trail which may one day connect up to the Queenstown Trail but for now is a quiet, little used track.  There are yellow topped posts that mark the track.

Access to the track is by a well made path between two cherry orchards, this is private property so please respect it and read the signs.

Parking is available just off the main road on Pearson Road.  Don't forget to say hello to the Alpacas.

Though most days I see no one down here sometimes there may be a vechile towing a jet boat on the first part of the track.  And if you go between 7am and 9am you may come across dogs been walked from the nearby kennels.
